Oily Situation

So.. we are all probably frustrated about the BP Oil Spill situation. The ocean is contaminated, fishes are dying and birds covered in oil. Whether you blame BP or feel bad for BP, we should help to the best of our abilities to help clean this up ASAP and then point fingers.

Here's an Etsy shop dedicated to the Oil Spill. It's an awesome shop!! People donate their work and 100% of the profit goes to organizations that are helping with the situation. I donated a Sea Glass necklace, I don't think it's listed yet but hopefully soon. =D

This is my favorite item in the store:

Looking for some Peace in the ocean!

Hey there! Long time no blog =P

I've recently discover a neat little shop on Etsy that has laser cut items such as rings and pendants. The items in her shop are so adorable! I ordered it on Monday and got it on Wednesday, nicely packaged and it came with a free gift as well. Overall, my experience from this shop is one of the best of Etsy! Ok, enough talk, let me show you her items and her shop:

Year of the Tiger!

Happy Lunar New Year~~

I'm going to feature some Asian and Tiger items today in the spirit of the New Year's.

First up...
"Happy New Year" Lantern by Matoby88.
From left to right, the words literally means.. New Year Happy. =D aka Happy New Year LOL.

Next up...

Year of the Tiger Paper-cut by Foldoutcards. There are 12 animals (zodiac's?) in the Lunar Calendar. 2010 is Tiger. 2011 is Rabbit then Dragon then Snake...so on so on. To see a complete list click here .

Last one for the day...

This is one thing that all kids look forward to when the New Year is here! RED ENVELOPES!! (aka, money envelope)

This is such a cute envelope!! By Katwright. From what my parents told me... children and young adults who are not married are allow to receive and those who are married are suppose to give. (My cousin said he'll never get marry because of this LOL) Chinese people (at least my family) give out red envelopes for everything! Birthdays, births, marriage, etc. They don't believe in "presents" like..actual items. Not that they don't believe but I don't think the Chinese are accustomed to "buying" presents. Anyhow, better for me ^^

That is all for today, I hope you like my blog, I'm still working on it. I've been a little busy lately. To all my fellow Asians and all those who are going to celebrate the Lunar New Year, Happy New Year!! Maybe the year of the Tiger bring you many joy, fortune and luck! For all those who celebrate V-day, Have a warm and cozy Valentine's Day!!

Monkey-ing around at some Cards

Hey hey! I've been busy lately so I haven't been posting. Sowwie.

Today, I would like to feature, Monkey Mind Design =)
Her cards are sooooo cute and you'll always need a card, for birthdays, anniversaries, get-well soon, or...just because~

My favorite card is....

Click for details on the card

It's simple and gets the message across. Super cute~~ ^^

Oh. btw, do you like my stars falling on the top of my blog?? I did that myself with Photoshop!! The new CS4 is kind of confusing... so I'm experimenting right now hehe.

That's all for now, I know my blog posts has been short but it's 12:14 AM and I'm super tired. =( Night Night

Spring Flowers

My first feature, besides myself, on my blog will be... *drum rollssss* DesignByHelen!
Visit her Etsy shop at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DESIGNbyHELEN

Her shop offers a variety of items, ranging from photographs, painting, postcards and wine charms!!

My favorite from her shop would have to be this:

Why? Because it's very ASIAN! LOL. I'm Chinese and love my culture. This is taken in China during her recent trip to visit family members. It's gorgeous!! I believe it's a "wishing" tree. It's normally near a temple, where people can pray and write down their wish or prayer and attach it to a tree. They have a similar concept in Japan. I want to make my own little "wishing tree" one day. ^^

That's all for today, please comment and check out her shop!!

The Beginning...

Hello there! My name is ZengSha! I like making jewelry, coming up with new ideas and Etsy-ing! It's a new word LOL.

Please follow me on twitter: http://twitter.com/starburstjewels
Please visit my Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/StarBurstJewels

The purpose of my blog is to display and promote Etsy sellers. I used to post all my favorites on Facebook and I think I've been posting so much that people are getting annoyed with me, hehe, so I decided to "blog" about it instead.

My first feature will be MYSELF hehe. I love stars!! (hint my shop name) This is my newest item, a Sapphire Star Ring. Long story short, this is made for, but not limited to, Super Junior fans! Super Junior is one of the hottest Korean boy band in Asia right now, they're probably equal to...Jonas Brothers in the U.S. LOL. Anyhow, their fan club name is E.L.F. (Ever Lasting Friends) and their fan club/ band color is Sapphire, so this is how the ring came about.

To find more info about this ring, please visit http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=38882589

That's all for today all! Thanks for reading!!
